Biographical Notes

Successful hockey player. Born in Bradford. Educated at Carlton Bolling Upper School. Jill began playing hockey at school. She played for West Yorkshire Schoolgrils, the North of England and England Juniors before playing with the England Senior Team. She was a member of the British team that went to the Seoul Olypics in 1988 and in 1990 she was the Vice-captain of the England World Cup squad. In the same year she was appointed a full-time Hockey Development Officer by Bradforf Council. Her role was to boost hockey playing in the region from her base in Marley Activities and Coaching Centre.
