| Biographical Notes | Doncaster’s first woman Freeman and first woman member of the Council (1920). Daughter of Alderman Joseph Firth Clark (former mayor of Doncaster). Hannah went on to be elected to Aldermanic bench in 1946. In 1960 she was awarded an honorary degree by Sheffield University. She had an interest in painting and sketching, and had her paintings exhibited by Doncaster Art Club. |
