Biographical Notes An active worker for social welfare. Married to Mr Carter (a Great Horton veterinary surgeon) Died in Bradford in 1935. She did work for the Public Dispensary for Sick Animals, on the Leeds Road, the War Supplies Department (WWI) and the Royal Institution for the Blind in Bradford. She was a founder member of the Women’s Section of the British Legion in Bradford. Appointments include treasurer of the Listerhills Conservative Women’s Association and secretary of the Listerhills branch of the Mothers’ Union at St. Andrew’s Church.
