Biographical Notes	Born in Birmingham. Educated at Cambridge University. Joy studied Theology at University and wanted to be a priest since her 20s was ordained as a deacon in 1992 and worked as assistant curate at Wadsley Parish Church in Sheffield until becoming Priest in 1994.The Bishop of Doncaster ordained her St. Sheffield because the Bishop of Sheffield did not agree with women priests.
