| Biographical Notes | During her year of office as Lady Mayoress of Leeds 1903-04, Mrs. Currer Briggs founded the Leeds Poor Children's Holiday Camp Association. She was also one of the founders of the Leeds Maternity Hospital, a vice-president of the Yorkshire Ladies' Council of Education, and a governor of the Leeds Girls' High School. |
