| Biographical Notes | Jilly Cooper was brought up in Ilkley and, started her career in journalism working for a newspaper in Brentford, Essex. Following a chance meeting with the editor of the Sunday Times magazine, Jilly began writing a weekly column of witty social observations. Her observations were widely read and soon found their way into Jilly’s novels. |
