Biographical Notes	A Leeds resident for most of her life, Kay Mellor is one of the country’s leading playwrights. Her work has been produced for stage, television and feature film. Kay started her writing during her time as a mature student at Bretton Hall College. Kay’s Work includes: Band of Gold, A Passionate Woman, Playing the Field, Fanny & Elvis, and Fat Friends. Kay was a founder member of Yorkshire Women Theatre.
